Erome - Who doesn't know Lamborghini? This car from Italy is currently one of the most exclusive brands in the world. This car is famous for its speed, power, beauty, and is a car that many rich people own.

However, who would have thought that Lamborghini had a heartbreaking story behind it. The exclusive brand was born out of humiliation and became as big as it is today. Of course the history is very interesting to listen to.

Founded by the founder of a tractor company

Initially, Lamborghini was founded by a tractor company founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. At that time, the tractor company was named Lamborghini Trattori. The tractor was built from post-World War II military production raw materials which were abundant at that time.

After World War II, Lamborghini, which was well known as a reliable mechanic in the Italian Air Force, produced a tractor business whose raw materials came from surplus military equipment.

No one expected that the business would take off and even expand into the infrastructure sector, especially heating and air conditioning equipment.

Then the success of his business made Ferruccio Lamborghini rich. Just like most rich people who indulge in expensive hobbies, Ferruccio also cultivates an expensive car collection by buying a Ferrari 250 GT.

It started with insults from the owner of the Ferrari brand

Unfortunately, for Ferruccio this car was a disappointment because he was frustrated due to clutch problems. Finally Ferruccio went to Enzo Ferrari, owner of the Ferrari brand, to ask for advice.

But unfortunately, instead of giving an answer, Enzo Ferrari instead made a scathing comment which made Ferruccio Lamborghini feel offended. Enzo Ferrari said "The problem is not the car, but the driver!".

Then, Ferrari also uttered a scathing statement by telling Lamborghini to only take care of his tractor. Ferruccio Lamborghini felt insulted and he vowed to create a vehicle that would break the charm of Ferrari.

Lamborghini's proving time

This insulting phrase then triggered Ferruccio Lamborghini to create a GT car that would beat the popularity of Ferrari cars. Ferruccio started the business of making this car with the help of three former Ferrari employees.

Lamborghini then began experimenting with creating a luxurious and powerful GT car capable of speeds up to 241 km/hour. The car was then produced as a prototype called the Lamborghini 350 GTV, had a V12 engine and made its public debut at the 1963 Turin Auto Show under the name Lamborghini 350 GT.

Apparently, the public's response to the production of the 350 GT car was very positive. This is also proven by the fact that more than 130 350 GT cars were sold throughout 1963.

Seeing the excellent momentum and success in creating the 350 GT, he did not remain silent. Lamborghini finally began creating the 400 GT and 400 GT 2+2 at a production facility located in the small Italian town of Sant'Agata, Bologna.

It didn't stop there, Lamborghini continued to surprise by introducing the Lamborghini Miura to the public and the world at the 1966 Geneva International Motor Show. Since then, Ferrari and Maserati truly realized that "bulls are really raging".

It's true, usually expensive goods or brands have a unique history behind them, and this exclusive Lamborghini car brand is no exception. From Enzo Ferrari we all learned that never speak to belittle other people.

But from Ferruccio we also learn that even if other people take things for granted and insult you, continue to express enthusiasm and determination to be better. The future we are working towards could be much better than anything previously imagined.

Even though this history has been going on in the past and the car has gone through the ups and downs of the automotive industry in the world. However, until now, the Lamborghini brand is still one of the favorites eagerly awaited by supercar lovers in the world automotive industry.

Of course, there is still a lot of progress and development in the automotive world, don't miss it and stay connected with other information about automotive via mobbi .
