Mazda2 GT Facelift Specifications, More Sporty!

The following are the specifications for the Mazda2 GT facelift which was just launched in Indonesia by PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (PT EMI).

The Mazda2 facelift with a hatchback body is the fourth generation of the Mazda2. On the exterior, the Mazda2 GT facelift specifications now feature a New Front Grille and Signature Wing with more character.

The 3D honeycomb design grille is finished in glossy black and has a few red accents which add a sporty aura.

The Mazda2 GT facelift also uses a New Front Bumper Design which also adds red accents, as well as the application of new 16 inch fan style alloy wheels wrapped in 185/60R16 profile tires.

The overall update is even more complete with new color choices, namely Aero Gray Metallic and Air Stream Blue Metallic.

The interior of the Mazda2 GT facelift will be easy to love with its driver-oriented dashboard layout supported by premium seats made from Leather+Cloth.

The feel of the cabin is dominated by black with a touch of red accents on the AC ventilation holes and contrasting stitching threads on the seats. Then for entertainment, there is a touchscreen head unit connected to Apple CarPlay and Android.

The Mazda2 GT facelift instrument panel also still uses an analog model, aka a needle, and still strengthens the sporty impression. However, the Head Up Display (HUD) feature is maintained and is able to display several important information in the car without having to look at the speedometer panel.

Various features supporting driving comfort and safety are available, including Auto-dimming Interior Mirror, Curtain & Side Airbags, Smart City Brake Support (Forward & Reverse), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), and Driver Attention Alert (DAA).

Price Increase IDR 20 million

The specifications for the 2023 Mazda2 GT facelift still use the same engine as the previous generation, namely the SKYACTIV-G 1.5 DOHC unit with a 1,496 cc cylinder capacity with a choice of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.

On paper, the engine power reaches 110 PS at 6,000 rpm and peak torque reaches 141 Nm at 4,000 rpm engine speed.

Regarding features, nothing has changed significantly compared to the previous model. Starting from Push Start Engine, Advanced Keyless Entry, Audio & Voice Command Control, Climate Control AC, AUX, USB port, Brake Acceleration Pedal, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) , Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and Traction Control System (TCS) as well as other modern features.

Regarding dimensions, the latest Mazda 2 has a length of 4,080 mm, a width of 1,695 mm, a height of 1,525 mm and a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, as well as a ground clearance of 152 mm.

Regarding the price of the Mazda2 GT facelift, it is now priced at IDR 367,700,000, or an increase of around IDR 20 million from the previous version. For your information, the Mazda2 GT facelift was released in Japan in early 2023.

The price of the Mazda2 Sport facelift, which is equivalent to the Mazda2 GT facelift version in Indonesia, is priced at only 2,002,000 Yen or around IDR 230 million.
