MG Cyberster Specifications, Electric Roadster Ready for Sale in Indonesia

 

MG Cyberster specifications ready for sale in Indonesia. This was expressed directly by one of MG Indonesia's top officials who brought Indonesian media crew to attend the Thailand International Motor Expo 2023 event.

At the Thailand International Motor Expo 2023, the specifications of the MG Cyberster and MG Maxus 9 were revealed as well as celebrating a century of MG's involvement in the global automotive industry.

Through the MG Cyberster specifications, MG continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing vehicles that are not only sophisticated but also sustainable, in line with MG's long history of automotive innovation.

"We are confident that these two vehicles will be very well received in Indonesia, in accordance with the dynamic and diverse market needs," explained Marketing & PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia, Arief Syarifudin (30/12).

The price of the MG Cyberster in Thailand has not been officially released. However, to be able to get the first batch of orders, consumers there only need to pay 10 thousand Bath or around Rp. 4.5 million as a booking fee.

MG Cyberster EV specifications

It is projected that the MG Cyberster EV will soon be officially sold in Indonesia. This electric car with a roadster model has special characteristics and is ready to become a new favorite with a combination of sporty and elegant body design.

This electric roadster adopts two types of NMC batteries. The battery in the MG Cyberster specification powers the electric motor which is placed on the rear wheel.

On paper, the MG Cybersteer specifications have a range of up to 800 km on one full battery charge. This way, drivers don't need to charge the battery frequently during road trips.

As an illustration, the distance of 800 km is equivalent to traveling from Jakarta to Malang, East Java. Quite far, right? Regarding performance, the MG Cyberster can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds. Meanwhile, power is claimed to reach up to 544 hp.

The dimensions of the MG Cyberster are also quite proportional with a length of 4,535 mm, width 1,915 mm, height 1,329 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. For comparison, this car is 188 mm longer than the Porsche Cayman.

To support its appearance, the MG Cyberster specifications use 20 inch alloy wheels. The front tire profile uses size 245/40 R20 and the rear tire uses size 275/35 R20.

A special page on the MG website in China also discussed this car's braking device which is allegedly bringing Italian products. Yups, it is predicted that Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers will be used for braking.

Entering the cabin, the MG Cyberster EV Roadster presents a sporty appearance. This can be seen from the leather material used on the seats, door trim, steering wheel and other parts. Also present is a "very stiff" rollbar, to maximize driving fun.

For this, the MG Cyberster specifications were even specially tuned by Italian F1 engineer Marco Fainello. Slide to the dashboard area, there is a touchscreen head unit which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and utilizes Unreal Engine 4.0 graphics to provide important information for the driver.
